My name is Rachel and as of right now Makers Make Parlor is a team of one, and that is me. I opened Makers Make Parlor in 2014 inside of the Sola Salon Studio’s in downtown San Francisco and I am still as excited about it today as I was back then but with much more wisdom and experience. I have been doing hair here in San Francisco since 2005 when I attended the San Francisco Institude of Cosmetology and Esthetics.

In my spare time I am an avid outdoors woman. I spent many years camping all over california and around the PNW and now spend any spare minute I have out in the bay sailing or working on my 1985 Newport 30 MK III. If you can’t get ahold of me for longer than a day or two, I may be up in the mountains or out in the ocean but I promise I will get back to you when I’m back in an area that has service!

I specialize in blondes, curls and non toxic smoothing treatments. I do other things though too like mens hair, color of all types and precision and textured haircuts. n my career I have trained under 3 different senior stylists that gave me a wide range of capabilities including a Korean Hair Thinning technique that many of my clients call my signature. Don’t worry though, just because it works on some people, I know its not right for all. My real genius is that I know and love that we are all different. We have different wants and needs and I always do a thorough consultation before each service because it gives me the opportunity to dig into what you are really asking for with your hair!
