The most common thing I hear from new clients is that they have never been shown how to style their own hair. They leave other appointments with a great blowout and zero idea how to get there themselves.

That is not how it works here. The styling lesson is not a bonus — it is part of every appointment. I want you to understand your hair well enough that the days between appointments feel manageable, not like a battle you are losing.

I will also tell you exactly which products I used and why. Not to sell you something, but because a great haircut only works as hard as the routine behind it.

If this is your first visit to Makers, book the Haircut Reset. It gives us the most time and flexibility. If you are a returning client, choose based on your length and your hair — longer styles with more going on typically fit the Signature Haircut, while shorter precision styles fit the Short Cut. When in doubt, book the Reset and we will make it work.
A trim is still a haircut. Book whichever service matches your length and shape. If it turns out to be a quick appointment, you will not be charged more than what the work required. There is always a message box at the end of booking if you want to share details in advance.
Yes — book your color service first. The color service determines the time block and the haircut gets added to it. If you book the haircut first you will not have enough time. Not sure how to do this? Text Rachel before booking.
Yes. Straight, wavy, curly, coily, fine, thick, color-treated, natural. If your hair has a specific texture or curl pattern that needs specialized attention, the Curly Makeover may be a better fit — check that page for more details.
Haircuts are shorter appointments and require 24 hours notice to reschedule or cancel. Everyone gets one Grace Pass — one free cancellation, no questions asked. After that the policy applies. No-shows are charged 100% of the service to the card on file.
